Last night I had the opportunity to experience something unsettling.
I visited some of Rochester’s most desperate neighborhoods.
It was truly humbling.
I asked myself, “Why me? How did I get so lucky?”
These people lived in outright poverty.
Not to mention, undergoing traumatic experiences.
So next time you are enjoying your mug of hot cocoa next to a beautifully decorated tree…
